Transport
Southbound:

  • Take the M1 Southbound toward Leicester.
    Exit at Junction 22.
    Follow signs for A50 Leicester.
    Continue on the A50 into the city until you reach the
    A563 (Leicester Outer Ring Road) — follow signs toward Thurmarston / Belgrave.
    Join A6 North toward Loughborough, then follow brown tourist signs for the National Space Centre.
    Turn onto Exploration Drive — the entrance to the Space Centre car park is clearly signposted.

Northbound

  • Head M1 Northbound toward Leicester.
    Exit at Junction 21 (Leicester, M69, A5460).
    Follow A5460 toward Leicester City Centre.
    Join the A563 Outer Ring Road heading north-east.
    Follow signs for Belgrave / Birstall / A6.
    Take the A6 North for about 1 mile.
    Look for the brown tourist signs to the National Space Centre.
    Turn onto Exploration Drive.

Public Transport 

  • Get a train to Leicester Railway Station (served by East Midlands / Cross-Country services)
    From the station (or city-centre), catch First Bus 54 — it runs every ~10 minutes Monday–Saturdayevery ~20 minutes on Sundays
    Ride the 54 to the stop for “Abbey Lane / Space Centre / Belgrave / Abbey Park” — it’s just a 5–6 minute walk from there to the main entrance.
    The bus-station/starting point in the city is very close to the station (Charles Street / Haymarket stops) — so the connection is easy after arrival.

Parking 

  • The National Space Centre has over 400 parking spaces, including 23 accessible / enhanced-access spaces

  • Parking is charged at £4 per car for the day (pay & display, contactless or cash).

  • Parking operates from around 09:00–17:00.

Seminar day

The GutMapDx Seminar day is suitable for all health practitioners that have an interest in gut health, weight management, and those who are interested in learning more about testing options for their clients.

With a series of accomplished speakers, the seminars will share a combination of research studies, biological mechanisms, and real world experience and case studies.

Additionally there will be companies with stalls offering more information on their tests and services.
